Can lagoon view go en bloc? Understand the car park of Neptune court still belongs to MOF and for any en bloc to happen, residents must buy the car park from MOF first. I read lagoon view is the same. Is this correct?

We don't have the upfront resource to verify about the ownership of the car park. Anyway if you are purchasing a property with the intention to hold for enbloc, my take is that you could already be buying into the property at a premium since these owners who are selling will already have factored in the enbloc potential. Besides, the enbloc potential will only be a speculation, and even if the development is going for enbloc, there is still a long chain of process to run through, from pricing right to developer interest based on the pricing.

Over the years, there are a number of enbloc attempts that failed due to multiple factors and this means that your funds can be locked into this asset for years. Will there be better use to grow your funds instead of having it locked up in the property? In addition, for most enbloc projects, owners have also been saying that they are unable to find something close to their units for replacement.

Current Situation:

While privatization was discussed earlier, there's no confirmation of Lagoon View residents successfully acquiring the carpark land.
It's difficult to say definitively if Lagoon View will go en bloc in the future, but the potential exists.
